Description: A young boy who can communicate with the overground, source of all magic. After accidentally opening a massive rift, he was abducted by the DSC, and is now trying to find his way home.

Appearance: Cowlicked dark brown hair with a growing white patch, beige skin, dark eyes. Squarish features, wide nose, worried eyebrows. Skinny build. Street clothes, army surplus jacket drooping off his shoulder.

Terra Harlow
Age: 16
Power: Astral projection

Description: A promising young DSC intern with fey and human heritage. She helps Soren escape the DSC’s research facility and has gone on the run with him, pursued by her former colleagues.

Appearance: Long coily black hair, cool-toned dark skin, dark eyes. Oval face, sharp, inquisitive brows, full lips. Slender build. Practical clothes, simple dress, seaglass pendant.

Mattias Moran
Age: 17
Power: Time travel

Description: A recently-orphaned teenager who found himself unwittingly caught up in Soren and Terra’s escape. Before this, he had no idea that there were other psychics in the world.

Appearance: Shaggy chestnut hair, ruddy complexion, blue eyes. Round, friendly features, bulbous nose, thick brows. Stocky build. Scruffy layered clothes, plaid button-up, a blue duffel coat.

Description: The director of the DSC, an organization devoted to protecting psychics.

Appearance: Wavy salt-and-pepper black hair, pale skin, green eyes. Stern, gaunt features, high cheekbones, crooked nose. Tall build with some muscle. Black trench coat over business casual clothes.

Power: Telepath

Description: A DSC researcher. Terra's mentor. Has the power to project illusions.

Appearance: Flyaway brown chignon, light skin, shiny brown eyes. Friendly oval face, aquiline nose. Petite build. Classy office clothes, cat's eye glasses, subtle makeup.

Felix Kepler
Age: 23
Power: Shapeshifter

Description: A DSC field agent tailing the trio. Terra's friend and fellow fey. Sometimes a fox.

Appearance: Mop of blond hair, light skin, sparkling green eyes. Pointy features, long nose, sharp teeth. Angular build. Black hooded fey coat over a clashing waistcoat and tie.

Alistair Torvald

Power: Hard light

Description: Felix's partner. One of the agents pursuing Soren. Can create energy weapons.

Appearance: Wavy ginger hair and beard, pink skin, brown eyes. Square features, broad nose, full lips. Burly build. Brown suit with a salmon tie.

Dr. Nicholas Sebastian

Power: Empath

Description: Director Lennox's right-hand man, a psychiatrist who can sense emotions.

Appearance: Coiffed mousy brown hair, sallow complexion, blue-grey eyes. Thin lips, bland, vaguely sinister features. Average build. Glasses, white suit with a purple shirt and red tie.

Description: Soren and Ellie's father, the Higher Power of Peace. The trio's goal is to reach him.

Appearance: Appears to be a middle-aged man. Greying dark brown hair, light skin, dark eyes. Serious, lined features, long nose, serious brows. Average build. Tweed suit.

Eleanor "Ellie" Tsui

Description: Soren's sister. Abducted with him, and still captive at the DSC's Iceland facility.

Appearance: Black bob, light beige skin, dark eyes. Open, squarish features, wide nose, wispy eyebrows. Average build. Lacy white and blue dress, white hairband, lip gloss.

Description: Terra's older brother, also an intern. Stuck at the DSC's Iceland facility with Ellie.

Appearance: Dark brown twists, cool-toned brown skin, hazel eyes. Keen, angular features, sharp brows. Average build. Open red button-up over a T-shirt.

Description: Mattias's younger brother. Convalescing with their aunt until Mattias turns 18.
